I currently teach AP Precalculus, Precalc/trig, statistics, and psychology, and I am familiar with all levels of math from grade 6 through 12, as well as calculus and college-level courses! I have experience with ACT/SAT prep at Sylvan learning, as well as working with small group and IEP and neurodivergent students inside and outside of the classroom. My passion is in turning everyone I can into a "math person," which is something I believe everyone can become! I believe by breaking down math into smaller, understandable parts, filling in knowledge gaps, and making math more "real-world" and relatable, any student can be turned into a math wizard!
I have a BS in applied statistics from Purdue University (2021) and I just finished up my MS in mathematics and thesis from Shawnee State University (2025).
I am also a fan of chess and all things gaming, football (go Bears), TV and movies, and space/astrophysics! I think that relating to your students is one of the most important aspects of fostering learning.
