Thank you for visiting my profile! I am a scientist and entrepreneur. I enjoy teaching, mentoring, and aspiring students to explore the world of possibilities in STEM. I have 2-3 years of experience teaching and tutoring students in math and science courses. I am also passionate about helping students with public speaking since this is a skill that everyone uses no matter what career path you choose. I value using non-traditional, active-learning principles in my teaching and tutoring. Not every student learns the same, and I am passionate about helping students increase their own self-awareness in how they best learn.
I’ve completed math coursework up to Calculus II, differential equations, and linear algebra. I have 11 years of education learning science, specifically chemistry, biology, and physics. I’ve completed scientific research in both a university setting and in a pharmaceutical company. As a result, I understand how science is applied in solving problems. I also love providing examples on how science relates to our everyday lives in order to make learning science fun.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, running, weight lifting, writing, and watching movies. I am always open to receiving feedback from students and their parents in improving my tutoring methods. I look forward to working with you!
