Lia is an amazing teacher. She makes learning Italian fun, engaging, and very rewarding. I have had such an excellent experience so far and I cannot wait to see the results in a few more months. In such a short time, Lia has taught so much and I come away from each session surprised by how much progress I've made without even noticing that I'm learning and absorbing that much! It far exceeded my expectations and is the true sign of a great teacher! Fun lessons

Lia takes an approach to learning Italian that incorporates not only grammar and syntax, but culture as well. Every week we discussed specific subjects but also movies watched or some reading I've done. This makes both tutoring time and homework during the week more enjoyable and removes some of the feeling of "work" from the process. I feel I have made steady and rapid improvements in my ability as a result. It's a little bit of a drive for me to get to her home, but it's been well worth it. Grazie, Lia!

I was a little nervous making this step up to having a tutor's help to learn Italian. After the first visit I'm amazed at the patience, perseverance and kindness shown by Lia and her ability to make it fun and comfortable to learn the language.
