Amazing tutor!!! Look No further.

We have had a few tutors for my son, and our experiences have not been very positive despite all the efforts we put into finding a good tutor. What makes Steve different from other tutors are: 1) Great Teaching Experience: Steve has over 30 yrs of experience in teaching chemistry. You want tutor with teaching experience so they can convey the materials effectively. I believe we all can agree that someone might have a Chemistry degree from MIT or other top colleges, but if they don't have any teaching experience, they might not be the best teacher for you. One of our history tutors spent much of the tutoring session googling to find the answer for my son's homework. :( 2) Amazing Communication: a) Steve proactively contacted us prior to our first tutoring session trying to understand our son's needs! 2) He also asked us to share class materials so he can be prepared and ready for the first tutoring session. Expectation is the key to everything. We wish all other tutors would do the same so they don't waste too much time figuring out the student's needs, and end up not getting to far into the materials. c) Steve actually joined the meeting early and contacted us to ensure that we were able to join the session! My son were extremely happy that he learned so much with just the first lesson from Steve. He indicated that he thought he knew some of the homework answers until Steve went through the problems with him. We hope to start a long journey with Steve through my son's HS and college. Passionate and Effective Chemistry Tutor!

I was in search for an experienced tutor who specializes in Chemistry for my sophomore high school honors son. Mr. Stephen was responsive and immediately scheduled a session to tutor my son that same evening I sent in a request. My son and Mr. Stephen clicked immediately upon meeting and I can tell through the session that Mr. Stephen began to instill the love for chemistry in my son. He kept my son on pace and engaged through the session and spent 1.5 hours getting him back on his feet. My son slowly began to regain his confidence in the unit that he was very badly struggling on. Mr. Stephen is compassionate and has a strong passion for teaching Chemistry to students. As a parent, knowing my son can have a tutor who is reliable and supportive while being effective and knowledgeable means everything. We look forward our weekly Chemistry sessions with Mr. Stephen through the remainder of my son’s school year.

Good tutor

A bit on the old fashioned side but in a good way. Good and simple way of teaching, has some funny jokes as well. Was able to understand a concept I had trouble with fairly quickly.
