I possess a strong educational background in philosophy, economics, mathematics and English, holding two Bachelor's degrees from the University of Texas at Austin in Philosophy and Economics, an MA in Philosophy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and I am currently pursuing my PhD in Philosophy at the University of Illinois at Chicago. My academic journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of complex concepts and the ability to articulate them clearly. I have extensive teaching experience at the university level, where I've taught Introductory Logic, Philosophy of Psychology, What is Democracy?, Philosophy of Punishment, Death, Existentialism and Phenomenology, and Environmental Philosophy.
My tutoring experience extends to various subjects, including mathematics, English, economics, physics, and writing, as well as SAT and ACT preparation, through my role as a Tutor at College Nannies and Tutors in Austin, Texas. Furthermore, as a Coordinator/Tutor at the Sanger Learning Center at the University of Texas at Austin, I created study guides, facilitated communication between students and professors, and tutored struggling students individually. My approach focuses on transforming challenging academic concepts into accessible learning experiences, fostering an inclusive environment, and providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their academic goals. I have experience teaching high-school and college-aged students in both classroom and one-on-one settings, spanning over five years in various teaching and tutoring capacities.
