Experienced Multi-Lingual Health Care Professional and Tutor

Olá!

I am an experienced tutor with a background in health, sciences, social sciences, and languages! I am multi-lingual and have a proficient handle on English, Spanish and Portuguese. Additionally, I have an intensive background in sciences and math, having pursued a heavy science load in my undergraduate career. So you get social sciences (yay statistics!) math (yay algebra!) and sciences (yay organic chemistry!). I am also health care professional working on my Master's Degree at Northwestern University in Health Communication.

Finally, I am also an experienced swimmer, and have taught swim lessons to beginners (with American Red Cross) and can provide swimming instruction and coaching as well!

I pursued a heavy science load in my undergraduate career (Pre-Med! YEAH!) and have mastered the basics of Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Organic Chemistry, and Calculus!

Primero, cabe mencionar que soy de México. Segundo, durante mis estudios en Northwestern University, obtuve un minor en mis estudios en español, enfocándome en literatura latinoamericana. Mi manejo del lenguaje, entonces, es académico, conversacional y proficiente como nativo.

I'd say that my major qualifications are two-fold: I'm a native speaker (as I am originally from Mexico City), and I pursued a minor at Northwestern University in Spanish, focusing on Latin American literature.

I am currently pursuing a Master's in Health Communication - and excelling in the process! The whole program is a writing intensive program, and pushes students to develop distinctly strong communication skills.

Additionally, as part of my psychology training and study in Spanish, I grew as a writer in my undergraduate career in a variety of settings, and am a very strong writer in Spanish.
