Graduating from Central State University with a degree in Educational Studies has allowed me to grow into a passionate and well-rounded math educator. Over the past six years, I’ve developed both a love for math and the skills to teach it in a way that’s clear, patient, and encouraging.
I have experience teaching both middle and high school math, including students with high energy levels and special needs. For over a year and a half, I served as a middle school math teacher and also worked closely with high school students through tutoring and classroom support. I take pride in helping each student find confidence in their problem-solving skills—turning frustration into understanding.
My areas of expertise include:
• Algebra 1 & 2: Building a strong foundation in equations, inequalities, graphing, and functions.
• Geometry: Understanding shapes, proofs, and real-world problem applications through visual learning.
• Linear Algebra: Breaking down matrices, vectors, and systems of equations in a way that feels approachable.
• Precalculus: Strengthening algebraic skills and preparing students for the transition to calculus with clarity and confidence.
I’m located in the Chicago area and available for both in-person and online sessions. Whether you’re trying to catch up, prepare for exams, or get ahead, I’ll meet you where you are and help you succeed every step of the way!
