I am an enthusiastic scientist and I love to teach. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2013, where I also minored in Mathematics. During my time at RIT, I did research in Dr. Suzanne O'Handley's lab. I attended graduate school at Ohio State University where I graduated with my PhD in Biochemistry in 2020. I love working with students one-on-one to improve their understanding of material and to improve their grades. I have experience teaching in many different styles, and I am happy to adapt my tutoring approach to best fit the individual needs of a student.
During my time at OSU, I was a TA for a variety of classes, including general biology, general genetics, molecular genetics, cell biology, and cell and developmental biology. I received above average student evaluations (average of 4.5/5). In addition to teaching in the classroom, I have volunteered at sciences museums for the last 10 years teaching science to children and adults alike.
My goal is to help you succeed! If you have any questions or if you are interested in scheduling a tutoring session, please don't hesitate to reach out to me!
