Hello! I'm Dr. David, a foot and ankle surgeon, medical coder, and former private practice owner located in Colorado. Medical coding: I'm a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and have considerable experience coding my own patient encounters. I've also presented to numerous physician groups on the ins and outs of medical coding. Since foot and ankle surgery is an anatomic specialty rather than a systems based one, I have experience coding orthopedics, wound care, dermatology, plastic surgery, sports medicine, trauma, and radiology. I'm able to combine general coding knowledge with how coding actually works in practice and give you real-world nuances.
Practice Startup and Maintenance: Since I owned my own private medical practice, I'm able to provide advice on starting a business, compliance, licensing, insurance panel credentialing, marketing, HR, patient scheduling, website design, and prior authorizations.
