Hello! My name is Britt, and I am passionate about helping students achieve confidence and success in mathematics, economics, and statistics. I hold a Master’s degree in Economics, a Master's degree in Financial Mathematics, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, all from Florida State University. In addition, I have earned professional certifications in data analytics and risk management, strengthening my ability to teach applied math and quantitative reasoning skills.
I have several years of tutoring and teaching experience, including working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant where I led undergraduate classes, held office hours, and worked one-on-one with students to reinforce difficult concepts. I have supported college students from diverse fields of study. As a neurodivergent person myself, I am especially committed to creating an inclusive, understanding environment and am experienced in tutoring neurodiverse learners. My tutoring approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student's needs. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps, encouraging questions, and building a strong foundation for independent problem-solving.
I tutor a range of subjects including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, and Statistics. Whether you are preparing for exams, working through assignments, or seeking to strengthen your skills, I am here to help you succeed. I look forward to working with you!
