College and High School Math and Physics Tutor

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Physics with Honors and Highest Distinction and a B.A. in Mathematics. I have been tutoring for 3 years independently in-person and online as well as through Chegg Tutors. I most often tutor undergraduate physics and astronomy, but also have experience tutoring undergraduate and high school math, high school physics and astronomy, and test prep for ACT, SAT, and GRE math, and MCAT physics.

I have teaching/education experience in addition to tutoring. I worked as a Teaching Assistant for PHYS 118: Mechanics and Relativity at UNC-Chapel Hill where I led groups of students through problems and labs. I took a course at UNC on teaching methodology in physics. I served as a mentor for the UNC ADMIRES (Assisting in Development and Mentoring an Innovative Research Experience in Science) program where I tutored middle school students through a science research project. And, I worked as an Astronomy Educator and Outreach Assistant at the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center for 4 years.

I have taken several calculus courses and have a B.A. in Mathematics. I also tutored undergraduate students in Calculus in the UNC Math and Physics learning center. I have 100% positive review rating in Calculus on my previous tutoring platform from 11 different students.

I have a B.S. in Physics and have served as a TA for undergraduate introductory physics. I also have several years of physics research experience. I have 100% positive review rating in science subjects on my previous tutoring platform from 28 different students.

I have used Python for courses and research for over 5 years. I also assisted in curriculum design with Python for a summer camp for 8th and 9th graders.
