I am a very patient, kind, and positive tutor. I am passionate about statistics and love making understandable what is otherwise a very challenging topic for most students. My approach to teaching is based on "the granny test" -- I strive to explain everything so simply that even my 90-year-old granny can understand.

I've over 25 years of teaching applied statistics in real-world settings. I taught Intro to Statistics at the university, tutored entry and graduate level students, and make my living as a statistician for a major federal health organization. I'm familiar with the major statistical software programs like SAS and SPSS, and developed/taught a SAS statistical programming course.

I'm fluent with all statistical concepts from the simple to the advanced: frequency distributions, descriptive statistics, t-tests, chi-square, multiple regression, factor analysis, structural equation modeling, etc.
