I'm a third-year Mathematics major at Cal Poly with over five years of experience helping students build confidence and succeed in math. My tutoring journey began at Mathnasium, where I worked for three years supporting students from elementary through high school in topics ranging from basic arithmetic to calculus. This experience taught me how to adapt explanations to meet a wide range of learning styles and grade levels.
At Cal Poly, I’ve deepened my teaching experience by serving as a Supplemental Workshop Leader for Calculus II, a position I’ve held for the past year. In this role, I lead weekly sessions focused on strengthening students’ understanding of course material through collaborative problem-solving and guided review. I also have experience in private one-on-one tutoring, where I tailor each session to the individual needs and goals of the student, whether they’re aiming to catch up, improve their grades, or get ahead.
My approach is patient, encouraging, and focused on building both understanding and problem-solving skills. I’m available for both in-person and Zoom sessions and offer a flexible schedule, with weekends preferred. Whether you're struggling with the fundamentals or tackling advanced coursework, I'm here to help make math more manageable—and even enjoyable.
