Hello! I earned a BA in Economics with a concentration in Applied Statistics from the University of Michigan in 2014, along with a minor in Mathematics. In 2020, I completed an MS in Economics and Data Analysis from the University of Chicago, where I also took PhD-level coursework in econometrics, game theory, and quantitative policy. Additionally, I hold a postgraduate diploma in Applied Statistics and Research Methods from the London School of Economics.
My passion for teaching developed early in my academic journey and has only deepened with experience. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a student’s confidence grow as they grasp a difficult concept. In my tutoring, I blend clear instruction with active problem-solving, encouraging students to think critically while offering the support they need.
Most of my experience is in economics, statistics, and econometrics, but my quantitative background also enables me to tutor high school and college-level math, including calculus, probability, and linear algebra.
I’ve been tutoring for over five years. During my undergraduate studies, I worked at Michigan’s Quantitative Learning Lab, supporting students in economics and statistics. Since 2019, I’ve privately tutored students in subjects such as intermediate microeconomics, applied econometrics, and data analysis.
I also spent two years as a teaching assistant at the University of Chicago, where I led discussion sections and office hours for courses including Introductory Economics, Development Economics, and Graduate Econometrics. In Fall 2020, I received the department’s Excellence in Teaching Award and was honored again in Spring 2021.
My goal is always to be responsive and adaptable to each student’s learning style. I welcome any resources or specific goals you wish to share. Feel free to reach out with questions or to schedule a session.
