I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Mathematics and a B.Mus. in Voice. I have tutored students of all ages and levels, but my favorite subjects to tutor are Calculus, Pre-Calculus, and Statistics. With experience in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as well, I can cover any of your STEM questions.
I love to see my students succeed and am proud to say that many of my past students have gone on study at Ivy League and other selective universities and colleges around the country. In addition to academic tutoring, I love to work on SAT/ACT and AP test prep with juniors and seniors.
I will always work within the parameters set by the student's teacher or school, but strive to make the material more understandable and more enjoyable. With over 22 years of academic tutoring and test prep experience in the Los Angeles area, you'll be hard-pressed to find a question I haven't encountered!

With a degree in Mathematics from Northwestern University, I have taught in both the classroom and private one-to-one settings. I am versed in state requirements for each grade level in elementary and middle school, and am able to tutor all high school math courses from Algebra I through Calculus BC. In addition, I enjoy working on the unique challenges of the type of critical reasoning required on the math sections of the SAT and ACT.
