Hi, I'm Kaitlyn and I'm a UCLA Magna Cum Laude graduate with a B.A. in psychology with a minor in cognitive science. I'm extremely passionate and interested in neuropsychology and currently conduct my own research in the field. I have experience tutoring students in AP Psychology, AP Biology, Writing, and College Essays! Hi, I'm Kaitlyn and I'm a UCLA Magna Cum Laude graduate with a B.A. in psychology with a minor in cognitive science. I'm extremely passionate and interested in neuropsychology and currently conduct my own research in the field. I have experience tutoring students in AP Psychology, AP Biology, Writing, and College Essays! Recently, I've served as a clinical research coordinator at Stanford University studying protective genes in the progression of Alzheimer's Disease as well as at UCLA studying suicide prevention in Emergency Departments for youth.

I love learning and I hope to inspire and pass on that love to others. I specialize in a safe and fun learning environment that inspires students to succeed, flourish, and build both confidence and study skills that they can carry on into the future. I want to help students learn about not only the subject that they're studying but I also love helping students develop their professional and academic skills.

Science is not a subject that comes naturally to me but it's actually a subject that I simply love and passionate about. I think this helps me break down concepts that are easy to understand by relating them to the real world and I like to outline and explain concepts and theories from the ground up.

English is one of my favorite subjects and I believe that both critical reading skills and writing skills are able to be developed through hard work and practice. I've helped several people improve their skills in even the MCAT Critical Reading section. I love writing, especially personal statement type essays and have won several scholarships.

If you need any help with any Psychology subjects (AP Psychology, Intro, Neuro, Developmental, Social, Abnormal), AP/Honors Biology, English, or Social Sciences (AP Art History, AP Euro, APush), I would love to help out!
