Hi! I’m a Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology major at UCLA pursuing my B.S., with a strong academic background in organic chemistry as well as experience tutoring history and social studies subjects.

During my coursework, I discovered that what I enjoy most isn’t just mastering challenging material, but helping others understand it in a clear, logical, and approachable way—whether that’s a subject as intimidating as organic chemistry or a content-heavy course like history.

I’ve excelled in college-level organic chemistry, and my tutoring approach focuses on helping students truly understand the material rather than rely on memorization. I emphasize reaction mechanisms, pattern recognition, synthesis strategy, and exam-style problem solving, breaking complex topics into manageable steps that build confidence and long-term retention.

I also tutor history subjects, including middle school and high school social studies and AP-level coursework. For history, I help students strengthen conceptual understanding, organize timelines and themes, analyze primary and secondary sources, and improve essay writing and argument structure.

In sessions, I begin by identifying where confusion is coming from, then walk through concepts step-by-step using clear explanations and visual aids. I prioritize active practice during sessions so students leave feeling prepared—not overwhelmed—and tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style, course pacing, and upcoming assessments.

My goal is to create a supportive, low-stress learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, trying to keep up, or looking to strengthen your foundation in organic chemistry or history, I’m here to help.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a session—I look forward to working with you!

Approved Subjects

European History

European History

I have a strong academic background in European history, including AP European History, where I earned a score of 5 on the AP exam. I help students develop a deep understanding of major political, economic, social, and cultural movements from the Renaissance through the modern era. My approach emphasizes identifying historical themes, making connections across time periods, and strengthening analytical and essay-writing skills for DBQs, LEQs, and short-answer questions. I aim to make complex historical material clear, engaging, and manageable while preparing students for exams and coursework.
Geography

Geography

I have a strong academic foundation in geography through advanced coursework in AP World History, AP U.S. History, and AP European History, earning a score of 5 on all three exams. My instruction emphasizes geographic thinking skills such as spatial relationships, regional patterns, political boundaries, and the interaction between human and physical geography. I help students understand how geography shapes historical events, economic systems, and global relationships rather than memorizing isolated facts. I also support students with map skills, interpreting visual data, and answering AP-style multiple-choice and free-response questions.
Tennis

Tennis

I am a former nationally competitive tennis player with extensive experience developed through high-level training and competition throughout high school and college. I dedicated countless hours to structured training, match play, and performance development, competing at a national level during my high school career. I am currently a member of the UCLA Club Tennis Team, where I continue to refine my technical, tactical, and physical skills. My background reflects both long-term discipline and a deep understanding of competitive tennis development.
