Hello, there! I'm Rebecca. Thank you for checking out my profile! I am a certified teacher and I teach fifth grade. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Design and a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning. I have written many papers: long ones, short ones, and even in Spanish!

Does your elementary student struggle in math? I can help! We can use models, manipulatives, and drawings to help understand math concepts. "New math" is not as scary as it sounds! ;) I tutor in math up to grade 8 and also high school geometry.

Does your child struggle with reading comprehension or reading aloud? I would love to help! We can read together and make it fun, too, with games. I can also help your child with phonics and site words.

Does your child struggle with hand writing and penmanship? We can work on that, as well! I took many drafting classes in college and I was graded on my penmanship. No wonder architects and interior designer write so nicely!

Are you a parent of an older child or are you a college student looking for help with your essays and papers? I would love to help! Group papers were very common when I was in graduate school. I always volunteered to be the one to proofread everything and ensure the group paper sounded like it came from one voice. I have also written group papers professionally as a city planner.

Are you an adult looking to work on your English reading comprehension, writing, and conversational speaking? Together we can work on grammar, idiomatic expressions, and build a personalized vocabulary list.
