Hi there, I'm Tanner, and I have over seven years of hands-on experience in software development. As someone who came from a non-traditional background, I know firsthand how intimidating programming can seem, and my goal is to help new and aspiring programmers navigate their unique learning journey. I'm fluent in Python and have extensive experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Solidity, GoLang, React, and database management. I'm also comfortable with Linux environments, BASH scripting, Git, and Docker. Some of my most recent projects include in-depth data monitoring/automation, alerting systems, and CSV generation tools. My journey into programming began after I graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2018 with a degree in commercial banking. It wasn't long before I realized my true passion wasn't in finance, but in the world of technology, particularly with the allure of cryptocurrency. For the past five years, I've had the incredible opportunity to work on the crypto team at Robinhood, where I've built some truly amazing applications. This hands-on, real-world experience is what I'm most excited to share with you as your tutor.

When it comes to learning, everyone learns at their own pace, so I have a strong emphasis on taking as much or as little time as you need to comfortably learn a subject. There is no rush when it comes to learning, because what matters isn't how fast you learn, but how well you understand the concepts. It's completely normal to take your time to truly grasp a subject.
