She gave me home work and was kind enough to pronounce many words on my recorder so I could listen to them later. A+ for Rosie and a D+ for me! 2-4-15: I love Rosie! She has been very patient with me as we work on the nasal sounds and I'm starting to catch on. She has been focusing on basic sounds, greetings, responses, and some verbs as a foundation to get me ready for the specific dental commands I'll need when we go on our mission trip.

I select a passage in English that interests me and translate it into French (homework). 2. I record my translation on a tape recorder (homework). 3. Philippe comments on and corrects the written translation (in class). 4. Philippe listens to my recording, comments and corrects my mistakes (in class). 5. Philippe records the passage for me (in class). 6. I listen to the recording and attempt to emulate it, accent etc. (homework). A lot of mileage out of a simple little exercise.

My son had his first session with Mr. Ben yesterday. I was out for a little bit. So, I asked my son how was his experience with Mr. Ben. My son said, he had a good time, and he is rating Mr. Ben a five out of five. My son said Mr. Ben has quite a sense of humor in Spanish. My son likes Mr. Ben. Therefore, we are moving on to the next lesson. Another review will follow once I watched the recorder.
