In order to transfer, I must pass college algebra, so in August I took the college math assessment placement test and was very depressed when I placed into pre-algebra. My placement in pre-algebra meant I had to take four math courses to fulfill the math course requirement. I would have needed to take pre-algebra, then elementary algebra, then intermediate algebra, and finally college algebra to fulfill the math requirement.
My daughter is struggling with 9th grade algebra and needed help ASAP. Katrina determined our daughter's needs first and then provided simple formulas for algebra concepts. After only 1 meeting, our daughter said Katrina made algebra very easy and she has great confidence about algebra now. For the first time, our daughter was excited about algebra and ready to take her next test. I HIGHLY recommend Katrina as a tutor!

Since I am a business major, I needed to pass Algebra I and II to continue at my University. I went back to my home country for my summer and later on found out that I failed my Algebra II course and from that day you can say that I felt like my summer break ended. I spent the first week and a half with a tutor but later on traveled back to America to re take my summer courses and one of them was my Algebra II course.
