Then he took me step by step through dozens of mathematical questions that simulate actual GRE questions, and showed how to solve them and how to avoid going wrong. Meher also showed me creative testing tactics by thinking outside the box – a strategy I believe helps one to confidently attack the different types of questions on the GRE. He answered pertinent questions that correspond to actual GRE questions in content, format, and level of difficulty.

I reached out to Margaret in May after realizing I had to take the GRE again to pursue my graduate school studies (phD). I needed a lot of help with the Quantitative section (Math) of the GRE, as I haven't taken a math course in 11 years. Margaret and I met twice a week at the library from May-August. The first time I took the GRE, my score was in the 18th percent in math. After working with Margaret, my score in the GRE was around the 50th percentile.
I took the GRE too many times before deciding I needed to do something different, and found Jon M. on this website. I took the GRE on 9/30/13 and got a 147 (29th percentile). I needed to get my score above the 50th percentile in less than a month to retake the exam on 10/28/13. I was sick of studying on my own and emailed Jon about a week after I took the GRE in September. We really only had 3 weeks to schedule meetings, but he was very flexible and scheduled me right away.
