About Philip:

I have a B. S. degree in Mathematics from Fort Valley State University. While at Fort Valley, I worked as a Math tutor in the Education Department. I covered subjects ranging from Pre-Algebra to Calculus I. I also have a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While in Las Vegas, I worked as a tutor for the UNLV Athletic Department. I covered subjects ranging from Algebra I to Pre-Calculus, including Statistics and Discrete Math. I use a teaching style that emphasizes the basics of the subject at hand, and then learning by practice and repetition. I feel that this is an easy way to learn and I will do my best to explain the subject matter as thoroughly as possible.
