About Lauren:

Currently a rising sophomore at Brown University in Providence, RI, I am pursuing an independent cross-departmental concentration in the study of interpersonal relations and how they influence behavioral patterns over time: ie, why people do what they do. I am currently involved in research for the Center for Drug and Alcohol and Addiction Studies and am also facilitating outreach for the Good Samaritan Overdose Prevention Act, forthcoming legislation in the Rhode Island Statehouse. I am interested in educational practice institutionally and vocationally but also have a growing passion for legislative reform and the development of sensible public policy specifically related to my work at the Center.
