I am a graduate of Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems with a minor in Business Management and Marketing. I graduated with a 3.42 GPA and graduated on the Dean's List.
I am a software developer by trade, but have many different interests: science, reading, and Freemasonry to name a few. I am a geek, I love medieval history, and I still play MUDs (text based games).
When it came to my education, I took it very seriously, and being a competitive individual, I rarely made lower than a B. In high school, I was able to pass with flying colors while barely cracking a book, but in college I had to learn to budget my time and pick up study skills that I didn't need previously. Having seen many sides of the chaos that learning can be, I realize that everyone learns most effectively in a different way than everyone else, and as such, I have no single 'cure' for struggling with learning - I can be as creative as necessary to see to it that things 'stick'. However, my goal isn't to just teach someone how to spell a word, or learn to solve a certain type of equation. I hope to be able to help people find ways to study that they can do on their own without having to have someone looking over their shoulder.
