I am a multi-tasking individual with grounded organizational skills. I work as a teacher, musician, actress, and dancer. I am ABD for my doctorate and received my Masters for Music Performance and Research in London (Guildhall School of Music and Drama). I obtained my BA (English Literature; Shakespeare focus, minors in theatre and writing) and BM (Renaissance and Baroque Music, minors in voice and flute) previously. As a multi-disciplined artist and researcher who self-manages, I am adept at juggling schedules and effectively interacting with a wide range of personalities and situations.
I teach dance, music, and coach theatre privately in addition to coaching ensembles in all three disciplines. I teach a wide variety of age groups (including an interactive program for 2-5 year olds) and classroom settings (including community college credit courses). My tutoring extends to English/Humanities related fields (reading, writing, proofreading, researching, public-speaking, presentation, style, etc.).
I often incorporate my musical and physical abilities and find this not only enhances my work, but also provides me with a wide range of perspectives from which I can draw and create.
I look forward to speaking with you in the near future and would be more than happy to forward any further information you might require.
