Barbara was an amazing AP Spanish tutor for me! Because of online learning, I felt very unprepared throughout the school year. We'd done next to zero essay writing or speaking practice, and my Spanish was choppy. I contacted Barbara about a month before the exam, and ended up getting a 5 on the exam. As a grader for the AP Spanish tests, Barbara is extremely familiar with each section of the exam, as well as tips about what the graders focus on that are not mentioned anywhere else. Though I tutored with her for longer, even in just a week's time I could feel a sizable difference in my confidence with writing, speaking, and listening. Barbara has helped my son improved a lot in his grades since she started to work with my son few months back, my son used to have troubles with Spanish at the beginning of the school year, with the help from Barbara he got a B in his first report card (he would have got a C without the help), what’s even amazing is he got a A- in the second report card and got recommended to honor Spanish for the next school year. Excellent Tutor!
Excellent tutor! My son is in 8th grade, 2nd year French. He was struggling to keep up. After only the first session with Barbara, he said he felt more confident. He had a D on his report card before Barbara started tutoring him and after one month his progress report shows a B! Barbara is patient and very good at diagnosing where my son needs help. We plan to use Barbara throughout high school as well.
