I will teach you how to use academic tools, study efficiently, and organize time to get the most out of your schooling experience. With this knowledge you will be able to tackle any tough subject that comes your way. I do not approach tutoring as a chance to give someone all the answers, rather I work hard to help the individual learn how to find the answers for him/herself. (Give the student a fishing pole rather than a fish...) In addition to providing guidance on specific problems and questions, I teach my students how to do their own research online, efficiently use textbooks, proof their own work, and learn from their mistakes.
I am adept in all areas of K-12 curricula, to include the maths and sciences. College level courses that I am most specialized in would include Psychology and Research Writing (to include Annotated Bibliographies, Works Cited pages, research techniques, etc), and I am very good with any sort of reading, writing, grammar, etc.
I am the oldest of five home schooled children and have years of experience both learning and teaching. I received my high school diploma and Associates Degree (both with a 3.9 GPA) at the age of 17 and have just recently graduated from University of California San Diego with a BA in Psychology and a 3.85 GPA. Throughout all of my schooling experiences I have always been interested and involved in teaching others, whether it was my younger siblings or my fellow college students.
I originally entered college with the goal of becoming an Elementary School teacher but changed my major to Psychology with the goal of eventually getting a Doctorate in School Psychology. Teaching and helping others is something that I have always excelled at and loved and I hope to be able to share that with you.
