Eddie has always been a most dedicated and passionate player of board and other games - the idea behind having Tony tutor him in chess was not only to give him the chance to learn this greatest of strategy games in depth, but also to learn how to think strategically and several steps ahead as well as to study and play out different games and problems in a disciplined manner.
I hired Max mainly to help me with the logic games section, and he has done an excellent job! He taught me various techniques that helped me get faster at completing logic games, and he showed me several alternate ways that I could diagram setups that helped me develop a repertoire of new methods that I could use to tackle different kinds of logic games.
We began our studying about 8 weeks before I took the LSAT. We started with Logic Games, which he knows BACKWARDS and FORWARDS. He taught me how to master the games by transcribing the rules of each game and making logic chains. I rarely if ever got a single question wrong when completing the logic games section. This is definitely his area of expertise. Next, we conquered Logical Reasoning. Neil broke down this area of the LSAT into question types, which we conquered one by one.
