Sandra D.- Committed Tutor and Subject Matter Expert!
We are very fortunate that we connected with Ms. D. through WyzAnt for Spanish tutoring. My son is a 9th grader taking Spanish 2 (Honors) in school. He needed help and Ms. D. started tutoring him four weeks ago with great patience, kindness, and attention. She guided him with grammar, followed by writing. She also focused on my son's reading and comprehension efforts. She made sure that she reviewed the grammar rules with him each class. What impressed me the most is along with being a great subject matter expert, she is highly dedicated. She braved the sleet and the freezing rain and came to teach my son before his midterm exams. She truly cares for her students and helps them do well. My son says, "She is the best Spanish teacher that I have met to date."
Help with Algebra 2
Gayle has been great helping my son prepare for his last few tests. I really appreciate her friendly and respectful approach. She has been very responsive and reliable. My son also seemed very comfortable with her from their first meeting.
Excellent, flexible, & kind
Thomas was just great-- my son said he helped him a lot!! Very happy to have found him. He was also super flexible with the scheduling which kept having to be changed.

Professor "Z" was able to help our student prepare for the first section in Calculus. She made the material accessible and made sure the student understood the work through recital and repetition. Really helpful way to get a start on the year ahead.
Great First Meeting
Jack thoroughly reviewed my previous SAT exams to see where I need the most help. He saw that I get ahead of myself and that I would do better by taking a little more time to be more thoughtful about my approach. I am looking forward to session 2.
Great tutor
My son had fail global 2 times before tutoring with Adam and within a few sessions his confidence on passing the global regents was enormous. My son really enjoyed the tutoring session with Adam. He said that Adam made remembering and understanding the info so much easier compared to his current teachers. Adam was very determined and confident that he could get my son to pass and he did exactly that. If you are looking for history tutoring for your child Adam is A++++
Very Patient and Understanding
Mona seems very patient and eager to help my daughter she was very insightful and warm with her approach to a first time student. We look forward to future lessons and throughout the upcoming year
AMAZING TUTOR!!!
After searching the tutor profiles, I sent out e-mails to several tutors that I thought would be good matches for my son. Well, I hit the jackpot. Joe responded promptly to my e-mail and was able to start immediately. My son was struggling with English Literature, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. Joe was able to help him understand and comprehend the material. His grades improved immediately, right after the first session. What a confidence booster! Joe not only works with him on his schoolwork, but is also showing him how to study and how to enjoy the literature as well. He's made learning fun and uses wonderful analogies that my son can relate too. Joe is a caring and sincere tutor/teacher; he wants to see my son succeed and works with him until he gets it. He is extremely patient, reliable, accommodating, and one of the BEST TUTORS I have ever encountered!

Lisa is very patient and promotes a positive attitude. She used multiple methods to explain a problem (ex: visuals coupled and real-life scenarios to make sense of the problems)... Great tutor- highly recommend her!
Knowledgeable tutor
My son felt comfortable with a josh. He helped him review for a quiz and went over all the material until he felt confident he knew the work. It worked... he got a 100 on his quiz!
