Smart, Patient and Caring
We hired Emily to help our son break through some of his limitations in the area of language, grammar and reading comprehension. She is very patient and was able to quickly assess the area of need and begin to help form a strategy to tackle the upcoming and dreaded standardized tests necessary for college. Highly recommend!
Great tutor
Teaches the right way for me. If you are anything like me you like to take a guess then if you get it wrong get completely explained everything so you can look at it the right way. This guy does that. Say you don't know then he will walk you step by step, stopping when asked and re explaining when needed. Then after a couple times with him turns you lose to try and is there to help if you mess up. Flexible when needed and is kind. Good all around guy and great teacher.

My daughter is very happy using Judy. She needed help for Regents preparation Judy has helped her with just a few lessons. So far I've been pleased with the results.

Effective and Knowledgeable Tutor
I highly recommend Steven B. as a tutor. I reached out to him because I want to learn Hebrew (for reading texts like Genesis in the original). Steven is extremely knowledgeable about the subject matter and adept at conveying that knowledge to students. His years of experience as a classroom teacher translate beautifully to the one-on-one tutoring setting. Steven simultaneously challenges me to reach the next level and encourages me with praise. The lessons are always at just the right pace, too. It also makes a difference that Steven is unfailingly pleasant, positive, and enthusiastic about the material. He is happy to answer any questions I have about language or culture. You will no doubt be as pleased to have Steven as a tutor as I am. I can think of no better way to learn!

My son said that Evan makes learning fun, already see his self esteem boosted after two lessons..He has helped him prep for upcoming comp test....will be working with him in the future...
Great Tutor and a Dream to Work With
I had the pleasure of taking a Russian class with Ella last Sunday. I found her to be very professional, patient, punctual, and exactly the type of tutor I have been looking for. Not only did Ella introduce me to the Russian alphabet in the first class, but she also explained a little of the Russian culture. I highly recommend Ella as a Russian tutor not only for the adult student but any age group. I am really looking forward to more lessons!!!
Outstanding Chemistry Tutor
Matt is an outstanding chem tutor! Half way through the school year, my daughter was struggling with chemistry and feeling very discouraged. Matt was able to explain the material to her in a clear and comprehensible manner. Not only did her grade improve significantly, but she finished the year with a much deeper understanding and actually started to enjoy chemistry. We highly recommend him!

Haan is an extremely talented young man and both me and my 14 yr old have only good things to say about him !! Because of his tutoring in algebra my sons grades have improved significantly.
