How to solve for P(x) if P'(x)=4P(x)+a, assuming a is a non-zero constant
I have to solve this differential equation for my calculus class, and I've gotten stuck. I found that if P(x)=e4x then P'(x)=4e4x which I think is a step in the right direction, but I'm confused...
