Instead, you should play chess openings that follow these principles:
For example, the Italian Game (1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4) is an excellent opening to play as a beginner.
The fastest possible checkmate in chess is called Fool's Mate, and it can be achieved in two moves. It goes like this:
This checkmate is only possible if White makes two very bad moves in a row. By moving their f-pawn to f4, White opens up the f7-square, which is the weakest square on the board at the beginning of the game. Black can then exploit this weakness by moving their queen to h4, which puts White's king in checkmate.
Another relatively fast checkmate is Scholar's Mate, which can be achieved in four moves. It goes like this:
This checkmate is more difficult to achieve than Fool's Mate because White has to develop their pieces in a specific way. However, it is still possible to achieve Scholar's Mate against inexperienced players.
It is important to note that neither Fool's Mate nor Scholar's Mate is a reliable way to win at chess. Both of these checkmates require White to make several bad moves in a row. However, they can be fun to try against beginners or friends who are not very good at chess.
In general, the best way to checkmate your opponent is to develop your pieces quickly and efficiently and to control the center of the board. Once you have a strong position, you can start to look for opportunities to checkmate your opponent.

The fastest checkmates are either the Fool's mate or the Scholar's mate.
The Fool's mate is called this because your opponent really has to fall into this mate in order for it to happen.
The move order is 1. f4. e6. 2. g4. Q h4 ## checkmate
Scholar's mate is more common and a typical checkmate that most beginner's will try. The move order goes
1 . e4. e5. 2. B c4. N c6. 3. Q h5. N f6. 4. Q f7 ##. checkmate
