Messages to tutors not sending!

I've been sending messages to various tutors but only 2 were acknowledged by Wyzant through an email and under 'Messages.' Why aren't my other messages going through? Wyzant indicates that the messages were sent but I never received email confirmation and the tutors never received the messages. Help!
