How are the lessons held?

Classes are held on Skype and Zoom platforms, with the usage of ChessBase and Lichess.

During the lessons we cover both strategic planning and tactical vision, theory of openings, endgame techniques, but beside all that my goal for my students is to enjoy the process, the calculations, and the lesson itself. Chess makes one smarter, and I’m here to make it fun :)

Classes are held online. Private lessons.

First lesson we see what your level of chess is, whether we’ll be starting with introduction and basics, calculations or deeper analysis. It is is held for us to meet, see whether you enjoy our lessons and chess itself. (I’m sure you'll love chess though, all my students do :)

My chess lessons are typically held online, using a video conferencing platform like Zoom or Google Meet. This allows students and tutors to connect from anywhere in the world.

To start a lesson, the student simply needs to log into their Wyzant account and click on the "Start Lesson" button. This will connect them to me on the video conferencing platform.

Once the lesson has started, I will begin by assessing the student's current chess skill level and knowledge. I will then develop a lesson plan based on the student's individual needs.

My lessons typically include a mix of the following:

1. Lecture: I will lecture on various aspects of chess, such as tactics, strategy, openings, endgames, and calculations.
2. Demonstration: I will demonstrate various chess concepts and techniques on a chessboard.
3. Practice problems: I will give the student practice problems to solve, and I will provide feedback on their solutions.

I also encourage students to ask questions and get help at any time. I want to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking for help.

At the end of each lesson, we will review what the student has learned and discuss any areas where they need more practice. I may also assign homework to help them continue learning.
