Thefore the remaining would be 1-1/3= 2/3
Today he sold 1/4 of the remaining
So he sold 2/3*1/4= 2/12 =1/5
The remaining would be 2/3-1/6= 3/6=1/2
so in general the remaining would be 1/2 of 48 = 24 magazines
