Hi!
I'll be speaking for Outlook 2016/2019 so please let me know if you're using something different.
I'm assuming that you'd like a blanket forward rule to send all email to a different email address for example.
The simplest way to achieve this is through the use of an Outlook inbox rule which can be created like this..
- Open Microsoft Outlook
- Click File and then Rules and Alerts
- Then select New Rule
- In the Rules Wizard, select "Apply rule on messages I receive"
- Click Next and you should see a warning that the rule will apply to all mail you receive. Select Yes at this prompt.
- Choose the action you would like to perform. In your example, we will chose "forward it to people or public group."
- In the lower half of this window, click "people or public group" and enter the email address that you would like to forward to in the To -> section at the bottom.
- Once you click OK, you'll be sent back to the wizard and now "people or public group" should be replaced with the email address that you added.
- Click next and choose any exceptions to this rule. (ex. except if from [email protected]) Click Next again.
- Finally, add a name for the rule, select the checkbox that says Turn on this rule and select Finish.
Cheers,
Paul
