Files larger than 25MB to 50MB in size cannot be sent through Outlook for a few reasons, they are security-related.
A) The receiving e-mail provider may have a limit on the size of attachments/files it is able to receive in an e-mail. This is to prevent people from sending so many files that a user's inbox is filled. If you sent files that are 1GB or 500MB in side, it would take a lot of time for that e-mail to be received because your e-mail client has to download the e-mail to the device.
B) It is also to prevent large files such as malicious viruses or worms from being sent.
To send large files, the best way is to use a cloud-based file sharing service such as Dropbox, Mega.nz, Google Drive, etc. You can share the link and then the cloud-based file sharing service can help with downloading the files to the machine.
