You can repair and restore .ost file using OST Recovery software which can easily scans your orphan .ost file and get back all data as .pst format which can be easily open with Outlook mailbox.
The SIMPLE way to do this is:
If you're using an Exchange email account, you can delete the offline Outlook Data File (.ost) and Outlook will recreate the offline Outlook Data File (.ost) the next time you open Outlook. Make sure OUTLOOK IS CLOSED FIRST then delete the .OST from C:\Users\%USER%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook
The FULL way to do this is:
The simplest way to fix this, if your mailbox is not too large, is to remove the account entirely from Outlook, then find the OST file in C:\Users\%USER%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook and delete the OST if it is left behind after Account removal from Outlook.
