I'm really bad with story problems and I can't seem to figure this out....

Story problems are the worst because I can't infer what the question is really asking me, please help! :/ I think I have to figure out how to do a problem along with joint variation but there's so many different numbers I don't know which ones to use.

The weight of a can of baked beans varies jointly as the height and the square of the diameter of the can. If a 4-inch-high can with a 3-inch diameter weighs 14.5 ounces, then what is the weight of a 5-inch-high can with a diameter of 6 inches?
