How do you play the high D on the flute?

If you're referring to D7, the fingering is:

Left hand: thumb and ring finger

Right hand: pointer finger, middle finger, and pinky on the first roller and low C-sharp key

If you're referring to D6, the fingering is:

LH: thumb, middle finger, ring finger

RH: pinky

I've had luck with the D7 fingering submitted by Derek Benton on wfg.woodwind.com, particularly on Prokofiev's Classical Symphony: Left hand, thumb on key of Briccialdi ("B-flat thumb"); right hand, ring finger on its usual key, while the pinky depresses low C-sharp and the C and B rollers.
