Your answer is 6 and 5.
Here's why:
6 - 5 = 1
And
6^2 + 5^2 =
36 + 25 = 61
When starting this problem, first look at the squares of all of the numbers up to 8 since 8^2=64 and that's too high.
Once you find all of the squares, start adding the consecutive ones (numbers that are next to each other) like 3^2 + 4^2 and so on until you find 61. You want to only do consecutive numbers because that means when you subtract them their answer will be 1. Hope that helps!!
