i need help with this question and a few others and i dont seem to know how to get the answer

Let x = the number of nickels

Let x + 6 =the number of quarters

.05x + .25(x + 6) = 6

.05x + .25x + 1.5 = 6

.30x = 4.5

x = 15 nickels

x + 6 = 15 + 6 = 21 quarters
