there are 9 packets of of biscuits which containing 10 biscuits that weighing 10g each.there is an another packet that containing 10 biscuits that weighing 9.8g each.with a digital balance and having only a one chance of getting a reading from it,how to find the biscuit packet of lesser weight?

Answer 1

Put one packet on each side of the balance.

If they balance, put another packet on each side. Repeat this process until balance is tipped.

The lightest packet will be the last packet placed on the high side of the balance.
