iPad mini headphone jack

Question

my iPad headphone jack has been acting weird. Whenever I put in my headphones and move them the sound cuts off for a brief second and comes back. It's not the headphones because they work perfectly with my other devices. Is the inside broken or dies it have like dust and debris in it?

Ever since Spectrum bought out Brighthouse Networks, I have had to reboot the modem every day.

When I unplug the modem and plug it back it, it reconnects. Internet and Wifi comes back on.

 Modem loses connection at least once per day, maybe more, as I must power cycle the modem.

 $60 for internet service that we don't always get.
