 -w² -3x - 8  - 6w² + 6w - 2          [distribute (-1)]

 

  -w²- 6w²  -3w + 6w  -8 - 2       [Use Commutative Property to re-arrange]

   -7w² + 3w - 10                        [collect like terms]

(-w² - 3w - 8w) - (6w² - 6w + 2)

-w² -11w-6w² +6w-2

-7w² -5w-2
