To find the domain of the new g(x-2) function, all you do is plug in (x-2) where and x is, and solve for x.
g(x) has domain -2<x<7
g(x-2) has domain -2<x-2<7 which simplifies to 0<x<9 because you add two to all parts of the equation.
The same idea used above is used for questions 2-4.
m(n)=(1/2)n^2
so for y=m(n-3.7) you just plug in (n-3.7) where ever there is an n.
2) y=(1/2)(n-3.7)^2
3) y = (1/2)(n+1)^2
4) y = (1/2)(n-17)^2 - 159
