What other tool can i use that is not the compass

Hi
My teacher ask my to make a construction using a compass and a straightedge but i dont have a compass.
Is there another tool that i can use to do my work.

I do not know of any other tool.
Can you ask your neighbors if they have a compass you could borrow?  Or, if they have grown children, perhaps they can give you a slightly used compass.
