Adrianne is planning to bake some chocolate, strawberry, and rain muffins. She was asked to bake half as many chocolate muffins as raisin muffins and three times as many strawberry muffins as chocolate muffins. If she only has ingredients to bake 480 muffins, how many rain muffins did she bake?

Answer 1

c = chocolate

2c = raisin

3c = strawberry

 

c + 2c + 3c = 480

6c = 480

c = 80

 

80 chocolate

2(80) = 160 raisin

3(80) = 240 strawberry
