27x4 + 8x
x(27x3 + 8)
You now have the sum of cubes.
Do you know the general form?

Mark M.
You are welcome:
a3 + b3 = (a + b)(a2 - ab + b2)
Look in your text book for
a2 - b2 = ?
a3 - b3 = ?
These are three of the general forms.

Ohh yes I remember, factoring with sum of cubes and sums of squares now. 27 is a and 8 is b right?

27x3 = (3x)3 = a3 , so a = 3x
8 = 23 = b3, so b = 2
